True, just nearer to Oulton, by quite a margin!

Don't quote me but.. I remember talking to a circuit official, may have been at Teesside karting or Croft.. I was told they use "new" tyres for circuit barriers, and they have to be changed quite regularly before they go hard as nails. Have definitely seen tyre barriers at Croft possibly, made up of what looked to be brand new tyres with slashed sidewalls. I'm guessing factory rejects?

Bit of uncertainty there I'm afraid. Getting old..

Build a tyre-walled earth-ship!

Chop them up with an angle grinder and put them in your wheelie bin

My local council re-cycling centre take a max of 4 tyres a visit.  Have a browse on your local council website in the re-cycling section, not the general municipal dump.

I did, Cheshire seems to have big issues when it comes to tyres and want's nothing to do with them.

Here's a laugh, you can chuck one in the Westie and bring it to Matlock, we can drop down the road 2 miles to the steam train at Darley Dale and drop it in at the recycling centre there. Or bring Big Foot and get rid of up to 4 at a time. I am serious btw.

Having seen how much rubber your new engine helps you put down, I can see you easily exceeding this :praise:
