david.c
I collect it on Saturday!!!! - this is going to be a long week. jr I remember it well. (only 2 years ago) Paid my deposit on the Saturday, and had to wait till Monday to get the rest of the cash. The anticipation...........the butterflies But well worth it Just hope that it rains alot this week then you won't feel so bad Enjoy David P.S. Mark is slow today, must still be
adhawkins
Pah, I can beat that. I turned up to pick up mine with cash and a cheque, only to have the clutch go on the final test drive... Had to wait 2 or 3 weeks for it to be fixed and for a suitable weekend to come up to go and pick it up. It's all worth it in the end though . brianm
Sound choice of engine that JR, not quite as exciting as the 16v, but should prove absolutely unburstable Always thought it would have been more popular a choice but I supose the ancilliary bits are the same price for 8v as 16v, so most go for the 16. Dont know what state of tune its in but Bill Blydenstein was always adamant that he could get 16v power out of the 8v with just simple headwork Good luck with it, Brian. neo
it is a good engine that plenty of bottom end power compared to the 16 valver which you have to rev to get it to go.
