Ear defenders and intercoms

Both my children love my Westfield’s but I worry about their ears so I’m looking for a pair of ear defenders with intercoms so we can be safe and talk to each other in the cars, any recommendations or advice please?

i’ve Bought some cheep WiFi sound cancelling headphones of Amazon.   £50 and they are really good at cancelling the exhaust and wind noise.   I can also listen to the Archers too

I've typically paid circa £60 for a pair. These seem a little pricey.

 

I then mount them in these ear defenders-

The Peltor ones are shown for comparison and the deeper shells caused more wind noise (I'm aero screened).

 

Happy to share construction/destruction techniques if you go this route. The head band is adjustable and my daughter has used them since age 8 in the car.

Yep, and listen to music of your phone. The instructions aren't great (chino-engrish) but you'll soon get the hang of them.
