Fully rose jointed suspension with everything adjustable with wheels on the ground which allows for precise setting up. All wishbones and joints less than 500 miles. Nitron single adjustable dampers and front anti-roll bar. MSA spec half cage for safe use on the road without crash helmet. New 6 gallon over the diff fuel tank and Facet fuel pump. Plumbed in fire extinguisher. Willwood 4 pot front brakes and Hi-spec rears. Rear body and arches removable for ease of maintenance. Distinctive “retro” colour scheme in ivory with ice blue contrast. New road springs less than 200 miles ago. Tonneau cover, removable steering wheel. 6 point Sparco harnesses, lightweight fibreglass shell seats with reverie pads. Windscreen and aero screens to swap around for different circumstances. Floor mounted pedal box with brake balance adjuster. Most instruments are the original VDO. However new Racetech tachometer fitted last year. Odyssey Extreme battery. Quick rack fitted within the last 500 miles. Wheels & Tyres. Almost new Toyo R888Rs on OZ 15” rims. Engine. 1.7 Zetec SE. Fully rebuilt less than 200 miles ago with all new bearings and seals, head modified by Cylinder Head Developments, new Newman billet camshafts 270 duration with alloy Vernier pullies, dry sumped with Pace pump and Aldon aluminium sump pan running on Miller’s fully synthetic oil, DTA engine management (which includes capability to run injection should you want to) 45 DCOE Webbers on Danst manifold and Tony Law exhaust and stainless steel repackable silencer. This engine was designed for Ford in conjunction with Yamaha and being all aluminium is very light in comparison to other car engines. Lightened flywheel. The aim has been to keep the tune at a sensible level to allow road use. Last dynoed at 165bhp before head work, new cams and rebuild. Cooling: Brand new Coolex 3 core radiator and Craig Davies electric water pump. Thermostatically controlled electric fan. Gearbox. Tranex straight cut close ratio based on a 4 speed Rocket box. All seals and gaskets replace during rebuild. Run on fully synthetic oil. Alloy bell housing Differential. Westfield English diff fitted with Quaife ATB limited slip differential. I have owned this car for just under 3 years and have steadily developed it into an enjoyable that can be driven on the road or allowed to stretch its legs on track days. The previous owner used it for sprinting and hill climbs. Sale considered to make way for new project. £8500. Covered PRG trailer available at extra cost. 1
