Having a run around the Selby area on Sunday 8th September and finishing here, https://www.themotorist.com.

It's a cafe, prestige sales and workshop on the outskirts of Sherburn in Elmet.

We'll meet at Rothwell Sports Centre, LS26 8EL at 12 noon.

Should be able to make this as long as the weather holds up.

If I get my windscreen on (commited by removing aeroscreen last night) and weather is good then I'll come along.

Around 1, we'll have a run around the Selby area first and end up there. They have a cafe, but think it's just breakfast and burgers.

A reminder for anyone coming.

Getting a route sorted out to take us from Rothwell out towards Selby then back to Sherburn. Meet at Rothwell Sports Centre at 12 noon. The car park might be busy, so I'll park up anywhere.

Route planned for Sunday, starting at Rothwell Sports Centre and finishing at the Motorist's Hub. Around 50 miles for anyone counting.

See you there. Got new tyres on yesterday but no windscreen, but who needs one right?

Good run out today, meeting up a bit later than normal at 12, 6 Westfields and a Cobra had a 50 mile trip down some back roads towards Selby. Some roads I'd not been on for a long time, but the satnav behaved itself and got us to the Motorist just before 2. There had been a VW meeting there in the morning, but none left as we arrived. A mixed bunch of cars were in the car park including a Lamborghini, E-Type, a modern Camaro and a couple of Porsche. And a Renault 5 splitting up our photo opportunity.
