Doesn't make for  "exciting " racing though mate , not in my book anyway , but perhaps I,m spoiled having been around the race tracks before  health & safety came before everything we do Watching  racing like Silverstone 1969 Rindt v Stewart or the Monza slipstreamers  will sadly never happen again

Great racing yes, but at a great cost too. The health and safety era has no doubt taken the edge off the racing, but has also almost eradicated deaths in the sport.

 

i do think they need to channel the past into current f1 though, simple v8/10/12 more open rules, simple aero, tyres that can be pushed 100%. Sadly not going to happen.
