Just picked my car up yesterday and went out last night and couldn’t see, how much brighter are these than the standard?

If these are for 4" Dominator types, the answer is not much. The reflectors are dreadful.

I’ve not compared directly, but they are definitely much whiter than a standard bulb (which looks better IMO), in my dom’s I use Philips Racing Vision which are good but nowhere near as much light as 5” lamps - as Martin says the doms aren’t great.

Possibly the best description I’ve seen of those bean tins! (I know many love them, just not a fan of the 4” lights, but hey, I like flared arches, so I already know I’m weird  )

I found 'bright' bulbs & re-aligning direction of shine in a dark car park helped a lot with my 4"

I think there fine for the limited country lsne night driving I do.

Agree...the ‘straight’ ahead beam pattern is terrible, they ended up a bit boss-eyed on mine 😂
