I already own a sport 250 and have just bought an XTR2 for trackdays, really looking forwards to collecting tomorrow!!

 

does anyone know the previous owner of WO02OAM ? He has owned it for 14 years apparently but I don’t know who it is?

I don't know the owner 

But it a early one so  i would be checking the diff area for cracking as they have been known to crack on early ones

 

And give the nose area of the car a full going over as it looks like the nose has been painted get the nose off and check the chassis for damage

 

And also give the engine cradle a full going over as they can also crack

 

These are just some of the things you need to look out for

Also check for play in the front wheels alot of the early xtr2 cars had westfield fabricated front uprights and they crack around the weld on the  stub shaft on the upright

Been same owner for 14 years and he is unable to use it now apparently, will check all these bits😉

Also careful with chain tensioningvyo check over a full rotation as the split large gears not always drilled exactly concentric
