Nemesis Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 That's a lot posher than we used to have in the Royal Navy, when I served in Faslane we had AFD 60 (Admiralty Floating Dock No. 60), we were able to take our Sub's out of the water in short order if required (and because they were still technically still 'afloat' we didn't have the bothersome regulatory issues with Nuclear Licensing) Ironic that 26 years later I'm working on a programme in Rosyth to dismantle our old Resolution Class Submarines, but we're doing that in a conventional dry dock !
