Silverstone Classic, Info for those that are going.

Well the weather has been booked so all we need are you good people.

 

Below is where we will be for the weekend.

 

Silverstone classic 2019.docx

 

Simple enough for those who have never been, all you do is drive through entrance 5 with your car pass in hand or on your screen. Drive straight on over the bridge and turn left at the next island, there will be marshals on the day.

Stay right and you should see us parked by the bridge. If you follow the orange bus route on the map it will take you nearly there. Those that have been before its near the tunnel that leads to the live music area. Oh and the beer.

You need to be in by 9:30 and there will be a queue so if you are late they may make you park in the public car park as they do not want any infield traffic after 10:00

 

We also have a parade lap on Saturday dinner so bring a passenger and a camera.

You will need to read the following document.

And sign on to one of these.

 

Track Parade Signing On 2019.docx   Bring this with you and hand it into myself. I'm the one with the matching car and shoes.  But seriously I'll be there and most people know me so don't worry you will find me. I will be bringing plenty of spare forms so all should be good.

 

Camping.

Some of us will be there late afternoon on the Thursday and we aim to be at the point on the map attached. I have a five meter flag to mark the site but we cannot hold spaces as its first come first served

If you turn up on the Friday this part of the campsite will be full so unfortunately you will have to find another location. (Its why we get there on Thursday)

 

Hopefully we will arrange a convoy for around 8:30 on the Friday and go infield looking the part

 

If any of the regulars had a different idea on the camp location then pleas shout up.

Looking at where we're parked this year, I think it might be best not to leave the cars in over night. It's quite close to the concert area.

Thanks Stu, I have downloaded the signing on sheet and have printed out a few copies in case anyone doesn’t have one on the day. I’ll be there Thursday evening camping, so hopefully there will be still space for me. Robin, I will review leaving the car in when we get there because as you say, very close to the music/bars.

We'll be there all weekend, but not camping as we live up the road.
