Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 A few weeks ago I started discussions with the air museum, with regard to us once again attending one of their “Thunder Days”. I heard back today from the museum and we have once again been invited. I am just in the process of confirming costs but for the past visits it has been £12.00 per car. We arrive at 9.30am as a group, and we enter the museum before the general public. We then park within the historic vehicle area. Our cars are then on display. This has always been a great day at a very interesting museum. Would anyone care to join me. Attending. Geoffrey. Steve. Des. Debs. Roger. Judy. John. Jaki. Frank. Johno. Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted July 16, 2019 Author Posted July 16, 2019 I have today been speaking with the museum and have some great news. On the previous visits, the cars have generated a lot of interest. This year we will be parked directly adjacent the main T2 hanger and we will be right in the main display area of the museum. This is a great opportunity to show off your car and is a privilege to be parked in this location. The costs have changed slightly are as follows. Costs per person is £9.00. This is still a saving on full price admission. I need to confirm numbers with the museum by Friday 2nd August as I have paperwork to submit, so please confirm your attendance by this date. Quote
