Mark Stanton Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Perhaps some 24" wide tyres may be needed after all, for some traction Quote
Matt Seabrook Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 I think he may need a pilot’s licence and not a driver’s licence with those front arches as well Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Also got the engine well forward compared with standard, not helping traction either, 36" wide wheels now Quote
Lotus7racer Posted December 30, 2003 Author Posted December 30, 2003 Hahahahahaha! nobody spoted the word "BusaNOStra" Yep! the plumbing is also ready for 50 shot just incase those big block boys of Yankee main street trying to poke my eyes. Yes sir, everything here in the U.S. is big. Brits are more logical and practical. Yankee mentality?... install it, worry later if the car will stop to the next light. Seriously, I was beatin' by V10 Viper a year ago. I felt it, it hurts, can't sleep, I always think about that snake running around the turnpike. He is my nightmare!! I always see his fangs laughing at me. That was then when I have my Toyota Kool Atlantic engine 210hp. This time I will sucker that sidewinder, Yep, this is the way we are in the U.S. If he beats me again, I will install my Suzuki Busa big bore kit from 1300cc to 1558cc and there is no stopping to get this Yuppy. Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Lotus 7 Racer Nope I spotted it, just wondered WHY but as you have explained, you only want to go fast in a straight line, don't have many of them over here We like to be able to stop and go round the twisty bits, tends to seperate the men from the boys Quote
Lotus7racer Posted December 30, 2003 Author Posted December 30, 2003 YES NICK... BY JUST SITTING AND STARTING THIS CAR ALONE WILL SEPARATE THE GRASSHOPPER FROM A MASTER. Quote

Ric Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Hole is for access, it gets a bit crowded in there! There is a metal plate with air vents covering this hole. Ric Quote
mb893 Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 Hey, I've got one of those! But my one should stop and go round corners Note the snazzy exhaust system JC Quote
Lotus7racer Posted December 30, 2003 Author Posted December 30, 2003 Now we're talking! How come all the turbos are coming out? I don't think this is a good idea. Alright, alright....let's put back all turbo cars in hibernation. You can't drive that turbo in Winter...turbine blade is frozen. They will throw us out, We don't belong here....bug out!!! ....unless we ask permission...of course Quote
