13 inch Wheels & offset  ---Needing some help

Recommended Posts

Can someone tell me what is the maximum (wide) 13 inch wheels I can use for the Westfield SEi wide in the front and

in the rear. (For Watkins Glen & Lime Rock racing)

Also I need to know the tire size I can install for this 13 inch wheels.

I plan 13 x 8  in the front wheels  and 13 x 10 in the rear

using a Kuhmo 24 inch wide tire (is this way too big?)

Also I need to know what is the measurement for the offset of the wheels.

Thanks People

24" tyre  ???  How will it ever get warm enough?

Is it a slick, or are these road tyres we're talking about?

....alright...alright calm down...

so what is widest I can use for 13 inch wheels & tire

Front and Back.....also the offset?.

I need to know, I want to order the wheels.

By the way, is the 3.14 differential ratio is good for this size?

I will be using Hayabusa turbo.

Dif sounds about right but I am no Bike engine Westy eggspert. I have 8x13 rear wheels and 7x13 fronts and it seems to me that you will need to do some body mods to get any wider on the rear ;)

Ok... Your current is 8x13R  and 7x13F

what size of tire you are currently using?

Also do you think 10x13R  and 8x13F  is feasible without body modification?

Also, what is your current offset in the wheels?

Thanks

I could not get any wider wheels on the rear as the wheel is mm away from the shock and is flush with the outer edge of the arch. I am running Avon ACB10 tyres which are 8/22x13 on the rear and 7/21x13 front

Where are you in the States?  Any web pages or pics?

Also what bike turbo kit did you use or was it a DIY special?  I am also just completing a Turbo Busa and located in NE
