This looks like a nice bit of kit.  I'd be lying if I said that I didn't want one!

Interestingly enough, I met quite a few people at Stoneleigh - including Ultima owners - who didn't seem overly complimentary about Ultima as a company.  I was actually quite surprised as I've been a huge fan of Ultimas since discovered them several years ago and would love to build one, one day.

What are people's thoughts?

There's a few owners in the NWKCOG on FB.https://www.facebook.com/groups/trevornwkcg/

I love the look and power, I just doubt they'd be a much fun as a Westie on twisty narrow country roads etc. I'm sure they're a great track toy!

Heard a lot of negative comments in that respect, typically about they look like they might be fragile on track. That could just be down to average build quality though?

Dream car for me. I'd love to own a road legal "Le Mans prototype (LMP1)" car and the Ultima is (IMHO) as close as anyone can come to realising that dream. The only dream I have that's madder than that (aside from wanting to get up close and personal with Seven of Nine...) is to have a road legal LMP2 car from the mid 2000's, 'cos they're open top...

Deanna Troi is my fantasy... 👀

A mate of mine built one a few years ago and was really impressed by Ultima, they gave him loads of tech support, took t leg car in pre-IVA to give it a once over and even drove out to his house to deliver some missing out parts a few hours after he rang them

I've not driven it on track but it’s immense on the road, he has the 500bhp LS3 and it’s bike quick

Looks stunning!

I suspect it’s all about getting the right balance of level of tune, etc

Deanna Troi / Beverley Crusher ménage a trois. If only the Westfield was a three seater...

Its fair to say it’s not comfortable, you need ear plugs when pushing on and it doesn’t need any more power 😉

It's a fine looking car but my money would go towards a BAC Mono......

Westfield drivers and passengers should be using earplugs as a matter of course. I do.

Chris Varey had one and used it on track a lot. I never thought it fragile but hard to keep quiet.

they get very hot inside
