steppenwolf Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 Bonsoir Le Professeur, I wondered if you would be back Clearly Blatman has written his list the wrong way round, he must have meant for the Zetec to be first and the Vx last? It is most unlike you to get the detail wrong, Blatman ..... You will, however, note that his list excludes bike engines - and quite right too ...... Oh, if you do go to a local meet - not a bad idea as you will then be able to see a selection of different engined cars - can you visit the Surrey Group and bring a string of onions with you? Quote
Paul M Posted February 27, 2003 Posted February 27, 2003 If you want Japanese quality and reliability not to mention economy, why don't you see if you can find a written off Toyota Prius (if anyone can get one fast enough to crash it) and install its petrol & electric motors. This will give you the following benefits, 1. Huge economy from electric motor. 2. Avoid paying London congestion charge (if you live there or ever go there). 3. Provide you with a unique talking point. 4. Be faster and more reliable than a VX. I'll get me coat. Quote
Rob Navin Posted February 27, 2003 Posted February 27, 2003 Blatman. You seem to have left out the mighty X-flow from your otherwise excelent list. I take it this was an oversight ? Quote
Le Professeur Posted February 28, 2003 Author Posted February 28, 2003 Salut M. Steppenwolf, I wondered if you would be back? I have not left! À propos, what is the 'The Tec' of which you speak? It is not a studied insult aimed at my accent is it? Quote
