Picture from Pistonheads.  Their caption:

We’re at the Nurburgring where Volkswagen is attempting to set the EV Nordschleife record with the ID.R. How best to keep up with such a beast?

The high-speed tracking car caught our attention, a former Westfield racer wearing a serious camera rig. It’s got a Honda CBR engine making around 160hp and the guys operating it say it’s far better suited to the ‘Ring than anything more exotic...

It is indeed! Took the post at face value and didn't even look closely.  Bit of free press for Westfield from PistonHeads there!

This Article hints that it might be a prelit westfield

I had to look twice as the way the light is shining off the bonnet and scuttle makes it look like the swage lines only found on the westfields.

That's not gonna help the already-poor aerodynamics....

Good publicity for Sevens and their derivatives, but I'm slightly surprised that this is the best solution - I would have thought something a bit more modern would have done better, but I suppose this is a great balance between performance and cost

The only more modern car I can think that would do better would be an Arial Atom unless you go real silly money. Then how much better for how much more money.

The film company describe it as a “Lotus Super Seven”, with a weight of 400kg and a CBR1000 engine.

theres a brief article and video about it on their website

I think it's a pre-lit. Caterhams all have narrow tunnels with rounded tops. Some pre-lits may have too but the vast majority of Westfields have that sort of tunnel between driver and passenger. Also Caterham dash panels don't usually turn down towards the "door".
