New owner 1994 SE

Hello all

Just a quick introduction, I’m Richard from Worcester and I’ve just bought a 2 owner 1994 SE.

I’ve always fancied a 7 since my first trip to Le Mans in 1997 when I saw Westfields and Caterhams hooning about everywhere 😎

This car came up local to me last week so the purchase was made and I’ve spent the last few days fettling and checking bolts and giving it a deep clean and a quick pass with cutting polish and the DA to try and get some life back into the bodywork.

Removed the wet weather gear today as I very much doubt I’ll be heading out purposely in the rain and I’ve read it’s poor anyway, Ordered new tyres  as whoever put the Team Dynamics on chose a mix n match of truly dreadful rubber!!

Future plans include a new wheel and removable boss, but it’s a minefield knowing what column I have or wheel to get.

Some new seats as I’m 185cm and 97kg powerlifter so it’s rather cosy inside. I think I need to be lower to the floor so GRP shell type seats may be the answer

Have a crack at some autotests and classic tours, a couple of trackdays and maybe a sprint/hill climb with a change of rollbar

Get away for some minimalist camping with either the nipper or the missus

Thanks for having me

Rich

you don't need a seperate hosting site, just drag your pictures into the post directly using the paperclip link below.

Car looks great. We are a bit challenged for wide seats in the narrow car but there are some grp ones that fit.

lighter than the early westfield independents. Welcome to the narrows and the best colour as well. I'm getting some lowered pans made in the next month but my seats are near enough on the floor anyway

Interesting... will you post about these floorpans when done ?

And I'm still struggling to do pics (on iPad if that makes any odds)

When you post mate, there is a paper clip icon at the bottom of the window you are typing in saying click to choose files...

When you click on this, you will be able to select any pictures off your iPad or take a picture.

HTH?

Mart.

Great car by the way from a fellow narrow owner!

As a trial member your uploads are limited (stops random strangers filling up the sever!)

If you decide to join the club as a paid up member you get plenty of space to share pictures of your pride and joy 😁👍
