They don’t appeal to all, and that’s fine, just like some people love building the cars, but aren’t actually that bothered about driving them. No one aspect really, is any more or less valid than another, that’s the beauty of hobbies! And let’s face it, when it comes time to sell, the beautifully archived, and presented, full set of records will have that particular group of owners suddenly looking very smug, as it turns into a great selling feature! Your right of course, I just tend to take a very practical view of things, sometimes too much so. My approach can cause agro at work when someone is trying to make a name for themselves by solving a non-existent problem in the most complex way possible, and I just dive in with a quick and reliable solution, not really thinking about who i'm going to p*** off Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Get you exactly, i have the same thing, with people specifying way over the top hardware solutions sometimes, that will just overcomplicate the clients life! Quote
