After nearly 3000 miles, bodywork on my Westfield doesn`t look great & I decided to try Full Dip. Currently waiting for delivery of a new boot box. Once it arrives & it`s fitted, I`ll be giving Full Dip (Spanish plasti-dip) a go. I`m planning to do a proper prep with removing any blemishes, filling, polishing etc. Going to use a gallon of primer grey base coat plus a gallon of Grabber Blue with metallic add-on and Super Gloss (top coat which is fuel/chemical resistant & can be polished).

For my money I would think wrapping a better option, just due to popularity, there are more vinyl wrapping companies. 

Both are fuel resistant at best.

For a DIY application, I think plastidip will be easier. The number of possible colour and effect combinations is quite amazing. Here's one:
