Zetec MT75 gearbox thrust bearing with spacer

I might try a write up but not a very skilled mechanic and I certainly won’t be done by the end of the week.  😃

I too have ordered this set up for my mt75 from kit spares although it’s waiting for my turbo engine to be finished ahead of final fitting

How many members tried replacing the pin as advised below? What are the results.

Is the kit spares pin for if you are using a cable operated clutch in an MT75 with a clutch fork?

 

I thought the main issue comes where people are using a Hydraulic slave with a spacer bonded on to it? Either slave starts to leak or the bond fails on the spacer?

Correct

The only downside I noticed in not using the spacer,is because of the extra travel the bearing

comes of the nose/guide slightly.
