Jon Wilkinson Posted April 3, 2019 Share Posted April 3, 2019 To remove a gearbox on a westy is not difficult even for a novice as its more accessible than a tintop, but if you are using a local garage to remove it they will be taking your gearbox to a transmission reconditioners, I would Google for any local to you gearbox reconditioners and if they don't remove gearboxes themselves, I'm sure they can recommend someone to help you, might as well upgrade your gearbox to aid performance whilst it's out:) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
