RallyVW Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Hi picking up my Mazda powered Westy from Toy Box on Wednesday and the insurance company is asking for a club membership number. Does anyone out there know where I can find the number I need to give them? Quote
Dommo Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Click on your name on the top right, then profile... it's on the left hand side of the profile page about half way down... 1 Quote
RallyVW Posted March 5, 2019 Author Posted March 5, 2019 My profile would appear to only have my name and address details. Am I being completely dumb as I’m a newbie Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 No, your not being dumb. I think you might need @Mark Redpath - WSCC Membership Secretary to Help here; I’ve checked back office and you don’t have a membership number showing in the usual place - but I’ve got a little, vague memory at the back of my mind that says something like joint membership accounts might not automatically create them, or something, and some manual work is required. 1 Quote
Mark Redpath - WSCC Membership Secretary Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Hi Richard Sorry about the little glitch in the system that doesn't issue joint members with a membership number, I have to add these manually back stage, you are all sorted now so if you view your profile now it will show in your details, any problems please let me know....... Thanks Mark 2 Quote

RallyVW Posted March 5, 2019 Author Posted March 5, 2019 Thanks everyone for sorting it out. It’s now where you said it would be Dommo Quote
Dommo Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Good stuff - good luck for picking it up tomorrow! Plenty of pictures required 1 Quote
RallyVW Posted March 6, 2019 Author Posted March 6, 2019 Excited today is the day. Looks like we’re either going for the slightly damp and helmet route or we could end up using the doors and roof. Gotta love our weather 1 Quote
Alan Cutler (Adge) - Dorset AO Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Enjoy, take it gently on damp roads first time out! 1 Quote

RallyVW Posted March 6, 2019 Author Posted March 6, 2019 Back home safe. Was raining quite light so went with the roof up and some side deflectors minus the doors. Took it nice and steady with a few blasts on some drier sections but then five minutes from home the heavens opened. Didn’t get wet till we pulled up on the drive 2 Quote
Dommo Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Fantastic! Pay attention to the battery mounting as mine didn't appreciate heavy braking and ripped out of the ali sheet when it was like that. Looks like a well built car and an inspired choice of colour 1 Quote
RallyVW Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 Last of the late brakers eh Dommo. What did you do to make it a better fixing then with pics preferably Quote
