timd Posted December 16, 2003 Posted December 16, 2003 Not sure if this helps, but had a quick surf on the Motor Club intranet site here and found this: The Lotus Motor Club organizes an annual sprint on the Lotus test track together with the Lotus Drivers Club and Borough 19 MC. The event is normally run on the first Sunday in August - check the calendar for confirmation. Any LMC member can take part in the sprint. However, you will need to obtain a MSA licence (National B, non-race) and provide your own car. You can enter just about any road or race car and you don't need to fit a roll-over bar. You will also need a crash helmet and fire retardant overalls. Check the MSA regulations before you invest in these - if you don't plan on doing many sprints you may be able to borrow some for the day. e-mail the club for more details, advise on car preparation or to volunteer as a helper. Note: The BARC also run a sprint at Hethel - in May. The LMC is an invited club, so all members can enter this event as well. Any use? Quote
