Good stuff - are they sponsors of the club or the speed series?

Are there any new discounts available for club members?

So John says to supplier “pay us loads of money to sponsor us please”

”great what do I get for that then?”

”you can sell stuff cheaper!”

”we’ll drive additional business to you that would have otherwise gone to a competitor, in exchange for a small discount”

The club but with advertising via the Speed Series stickers, cars, T shirts, forum, website, magazine etc.

As for discounts, its pretty much as Chris says but SBD offer 10% and A Plan offer preferential rates on insurance. The others may offer something depending on what value your order is.

It would be useful if each company could do a 2 -3 line description of what they do. For example I looked on the Force Wheels website and it seems they are Mini specialists. Does that have anything to do with Westfields?

Thanks to John for all his hard work in arranging this.

The clue is in the company name. Click a bit deeper on the website and all is revealed http://www.force-racing.co.uk/wheels/

John. Yes, I'd worked that out thanks.

The point I was making is that if it is very clear to people what a company sells then people are more likely to buy from that company. Presumably the sponsors are giving us money because they hope to sell something and make a profit out of us.

Taking Force, I see the wheels and also a lot of Titanium products which I'm sure would be too expensive for me. But no doubt hidden in the comprehensive web site are products that could be of interest and I would find it useful if Force could explain this. The same goes for the other companies. We all know that Northampton Motorsport do dyno sessions but maybe they do other things that could be of interest. And why would I want an Intelligent Race Fuel Bowser? But maybe I do and hadn't realised it!

I have to say I find the name Force Racing confusing as I thought that was the company run by Ian Dayson making racing cars
