Paul Morcom Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Recommended for all cars but mandatory to be in date for Hillclimb Super Sports cars, Sports Libre cars and Racing cars. I have a set to come off my Merlyn, dated 2018. Black TRS 3", 6 point. They are bolt fixings (not clip on) but that me be changeable with an old set of clips (not sure). If you are interested then can you let me know what length of straps you require and I can measure. These are them....clicky Paul Quote
Wilfman Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 I'm pretty certain the regs are changing to 10 year life for seats and harnesses provided the are not torn / damaged. Quote
Smudge62 Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 This proposal extends the life of an FIA 8853-2016 harness by an additional five years over the current FIA validity of five years. Harnesses to FIA 8853-2016 standard are tested to a greater loading than that of the previous standards and are a 6-point minimum. By extending the usable life it will encourage competitors to use the latest standard. 1 Quote
