Same company ? Strange how I am looking at tyres and both have 2 sets left, both have the same discount, both in the same town, both at the same price and both use the same photo for the advert . 

Just wondering if there is a link.

Not unusual in box shifting businesses - they simply target different market segments.

DT generally operate at Full RRP.   They have catalogues, full sales office, customer service department etc, they are not a discounter or price slasher.    They are also fair to their suppliers.   Competing with part time bedroom eBay sellers is not easy.  They know stuff is price sensitive.   So they sell stuff via JJC often a little cheaper. Not the full DT stock just select stuff.   But if you are not shy,  phone and speak to some one on the sales desks at DT they can usually match beat any other prices anyway.

It’s normal for companies with a discount arm like that. It helps reduce association between the two. Not from a sinister motive, but just stops people going into the DT shop over purchases from JJC and so on.

That would be a great move if the prices were not the same as each other
