Christmas fish and chip run.

The now traditional Yorkshire Christmas fish and chip run will be returning to Filey this year.

It will take place on Friday 28th December, just the thing to blow the post Christmas cobwebs away. Meet at 10:30 at the Fox and Grapes.

We've always had good weather in other years, so hope we will this year too.

I’ll be there Robin, first time in a couple of years I have been able to make it. Looking forward to it.

With a week to go, the weather is looking ok, cloudy, 7 degrees with a 10% chance of rain. But that might change.

I’m afraid I won’t be able to join you this year.

Hope you all have a great day.

All home now, car away and warming up. 8 of us in 5 cars, sun shone and blue skies in Filey, and sun shone in our eyes on the way home. Fish and chips on the Coble landing and a milky coffee at Squires cafe. Where are we going next year?

Did you miss the big accident that shut the A64 just east of York?

I was on my way to Scarborough and it took me 3 hours via a tortuous route

Missed it Terry, went through Stamford Bridge, no problems with traffic.
