Le 12 Heures du Hoddesdon

I contacted Rye House Kart Circuit a few days ago, with a view to organising the annual Essex Area enduro event.

While talking to them, they mentioned something that might generate a bit of interest from other areas.

Once a year, over the weekend closest to the longest day (so we are talking June 2019), they run a 12 hour endurance race for teams of 6 to 10. To give the event an authentic "Le Mans" feel, it starts on the Saturday evening in daylight and runs throughout the night, finishing in daylight on the Sunday.

If we can put some names together and, on the weekend, took our cars, they would section off an area of the car park for a club display.

Clearly at this stage it's not about committing, but it would be good to get a feel regards interest, to see if it's worth following up on.

Cost would be between £600 and £700 per team, which is decent value for money.
