Eivind Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Hi I just want to present myself - I am Eivind from Brøtsø, a tiny island in the Oslo fjord. We DO have a bridge to the mainland, hence the Westie :-) My background is in electronics, and I have owned a MX-5 that I chip-tuned myself, so I will probably dig into the Omex ECU, make some kind of digital dash with Apple CarPlay and such stuff. My SE FW kit arrives this Saturday, and there goes the free time this winter. I am really excited - I will savour the building process and make it last a loooong time! I ordered with the 150 hp Zetec, heater and full wrapping. My big hero is Pippi Longstocking, who once said something like this: "This I have never done before, so I will most certainly master it". That goes for me and this project, too. Cheers, and be ready for a lot of stupid questions. 3 Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Welcome Elvind, we’ll look forward to hearing about your adventures! Quote
Alan Cutler (Adge) - Dorset AO Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Elvind. Enjoy your build. Based on my experience, would highly recommend posting a build diary (with lots of photos) on this forum. It's a great way to utilise the experience and knowledge of other club members. Helped me enormously during my build. Quote
Dean Goodall Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Elvind I am fairly new to the world of Westfield cars and currently building a classic complete kit. Be sure to view as many build diaries as possible to help you along. Dont be afraid to ask, bucket load of experience on the forums. Enjoy Quote
