westy Posted February 19, 2003 Share Posted February 19, 2003 oops sorry missed this I went for the Quaife HD with a 2.39 first and then close ratios finally to a 1:1 fourth and 5th overdrive for cruising. For me it was night and day. I found no more useless first and great acceleration up until the windscreen and aerodynamics kicking in rather than the car slumping when you got it in to fourth.
