Big thanks to Ash

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to @Arm for all the hard work, help, advice and perseverance in rebuilding my engine.

Totally over the moon with the quality of the work done (bracket manufacture is top quality) and advice given throughout the journey. The outcome today on the rollers was better than envisaged. We aimed for 240 bhp as a strong figure and got 242 bhp at a very sensible rev limit of 7300 rpm along with 179lbft at 6,000 rpm with a good spread of torque aligned with the gearing.

The engine is a C20XE on ITBs with SBD valve train and QED450 cams. Standard valves and no headwork.

The car pulls so hard that I would never need more in a road/occasional track car.

Thanks Ash - top job from a genuinely nice bloke!!

Is that the original Boghouse?

Yes it is Paul. Just been steadily tidying a few bits of it up over winter/spring.

BTW just noticed the botched side panels and must point out they are a temporary stop gap until I get chance to fit the new ones.
