shrops-paul Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 So after a great weekend at Shelsley I managed to loose my balance, fall and slip all at once yesterday. Wooden floor, feet went sideways from under me and my left foot went straight into the heavy oak bookcase. All my toes are looking like purple heritage carrots and hurt a lot. I don’t think they are broken and the internet suggests there’s not much can be done. Day off work today though as I can’t get a shoe on Quote
stephenh Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 That looks 'orrible. Gangrene I should think, only remedy is amputation. 1 Quote
TableLeg Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Ouch I notice you're little toe is so embarrassed it's turning away from the others. Quote
Captain Colonial Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Ouch! Had something similar years ago, I was cutting some kitchen worktop material when it came loose and dropped 2’ sideways across my foot. Most of my foot was that colour. Just had to limp for several days. If you’re not a drinking man - start. GWS! 1 Quote

Blatman Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Busted or not there's not much that can be done as far as I am aware. I've had a toe or two looking like that a few times. They get better and it doesn't take long. Quote
shrops-paul Posted June 27, 2018 Author Posted June 27, 2018 Volterol gel & ice gel pack. Can’t go near a clutch so working from home I’m such a muppet. Wasn’t event drunk! Quote
