Do not use that ARB anymore, it is known to be too stiff, and in some cases has caused chassis breakage. Get a new one from Westfield (revised design) or from Siltech Racing, they make a fantastic kit.

I would also question why you “need” an ARB? If it’s for track/race fair enough, but if it’s road use, not something you really need on a westy (in my opinion)

Yeah, I know 4 1/2 years is a long time, but the question never asked is ...

 

I've read that street-able Westy's don't need an ARB, but mine is currently disabled (doing a Weber(s) rebuild as I type), so I have to wait and see if that's the case.  Thanks LoneWolf for the tip on Siltech Racing.  I'll check that out.

I removed both mine... Wayy too stiff for road use. If you have a heavy V8 maybe it will be a help
