Dear Mr Club Chairman Sir,

Your Honour and most illustrious self,

You do not mention the most cr*p show of all - Stafford!!

Assuming the organisers have not lost their sense of humour - and intend to run it in 2004 - I would be willing to man (staff, person, occupy, present) the WSCC if you like.

Good excuse to get in free - in the warm and dry - with my car.

As you know - I only live just up t'road - so let me know.

I know the show is crap - but a seat in the warm and all that.  Oh - and the chance to promote the WSCC of course.

Sorry not able to offer help on the stand. If I am able to go, I may be on limited time due to family commitments.

Could team up on route. Hopefully going on the Saturday. Travelling down from Bristol.

Views differ about this show. IMHO it is a good close to the year. Not too big. Free to kitcar drivers. Normally well attended. Plenty of parts and manufacturers stands as well as cars for sale or to just drool over.

Okay, not knowing what 'normally' happens we (me and Stubbow) have a few questions.

1. Do we have a stand arranged for the show? (Do we normally? )

2. If so, does it need any help. ('Cos we can)

3. Should we have got involved 9 months ago depending upon answers to 1 and 2.

Just trying to decide what we're up to

I am not sure if I'll be attending this show, so can anyone tell me how many people usually turn up, and do we have a club area?

If there's sufficient interest, I might come down with the merchandising (hopefully a show this late in the year will mean I would sell LOTS of umbrellas and coats)

Look forward to some feedback.

There isn't normally club areas, you just turn up and park in the area at the rear of the building with all sorts of cars. From the thread it would appear we may have an indoor area to work from this year? I will hopefully be going but cannot say for sure till nearer the date. It is no Stonleigh but as Mart says it is okay for the bits you need.
