Paul Baker
Beautiful day for a run out. Feels a bit old school to get home with a windscreen covered in bug splats. Better get cleaning ready for Malvern 4
Richard (OldStager)
Since it was a nice evening, a few sandwiches and a drink purchased had a picnic at the beach, lol, fortunately I didn't get any sand in said food stuffs and had a nice 30 mins or so watching the dog walkers and the sun go down. The hills of the Lake district in the far distance And a hazy shot of North Pier just poking out into the sea with the Tower hiding in between two flag poles . Car started to get more attention than I like, so went further up the coast only to find it rather busier, so came home .

Andrzej
I managed to prepare the Westfield Aerorace for the Classicauto Cup track day. Spanner checked all suspension bolts and nuts, changed oil and filter, changed the brake pumps to get more pedal travel with less foot effort ( 0,7 and 0,75 to 0,625 and 0,7) - much better with its HiSpec calipers. Now I need to do the same with the clutch, now its working almost "binary" 0-1 , easy to stall engine on pit lane etc.. but it's on a cable with a Helix sport disc and pressure plate, dont know maybe changing or lube cable will help , cable is quite old and close to exhaust manifolfd (RHD car) . And despite various suspension setup combinations, the rear is still quite twitchy when exiting corners under acceleration. It's fun, but it doesn't improve lap times or confidence to the car
Richard (OldStager)
Never competed with a Westy before, but in others car where I have done, oversteer on corner exit I found to be a mixture of rear ride height and stiffness, raising the rear and softening it all off really help me at least , it may be completely different with a Westy though, wait till the racers post and see what they say, alternatively put a post on the racing section?. 1

mikef
Excellent drive out today around the Forest of Dean and Monmouthshire. A few holdups but generally pretty clear. I even decorated the car in homage to D-day.
