I managed to knacker a slave cylinder when replacing my clutch by trying to be clever and bleeding the system before bolting it in. A proper face palm moment 😂 That, I believe, is exactly what I've done. Having re-aligned some of the clutch bits, and removed a spacer, I reckon I've created too much clearance for the slave and pushed it clear off the end. 🤦🏼
Spacedoggy
Vivienne took to the sky this morning, courtesy of @Bellyboy. Spontaneous unplanned disassembly of the exhaust was narrowly avoided after discovery of a fatigued mounting bracket and fabrication of a replacement! Thanks Bud!

Checked, both of my Westfields are exempt even though the XI is 'visual smoke' for MOT emissions - checker seems to be based on date of 1st registration, my last C Class was Euro 6 but because it was registered before Euro 6 was mandated it didn't count and I had to pay CAZ when we visited - since replaced with a PHEV. Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Double check, regs change etc. But last time I looked up all the various emissions based charging zones, all Westfields were effectively exempt due to the way they're tested and classified. That's not to say that won't change in the future, as IVA tests have been harvesting as-built emissions data for a few years now, but I don't think, currently, any of that data is used in away that affects us beyond compliance for the test itself. (Note that's for the UK only. I know the first time I did Le Mans five or so years ago, just in case we went near one, we did get the pre-paid French emissions restricted cartes, and we would have needed them had we entered a restricted zone)
