I like how the sky matches your great gel coat colour choice!

Haha doesn't match it very often!

Just a shame about the cup! didn't they have the right colour Steve....🙂

Nice photos though😎

Maybe I need to get a colour coded re-usable cup. Or even one step further and a carbon fibre one :d

There were some even better photo opportunities on the roads after the stop but I couldn't be bothered stopping as was having too much fun.

Winter tinkering scope-creep

This was originally going to be "fit flared side panels" and it's morphed into a complete body-off respray

I use Pountney Motor Services in Birmingham - bit of a back-street outfit, but the owner, John is very good and will work to a given budget if required. I've used him for several cars in the past - perhaps half a dozen or so. Quality is very good and he has no problem fixing something if it isn't right first time.

Let me know if you want an introduction

Engine and gearbox out for changing to H pattern dogbox with proper ratios in MT 75 case plus light flywheel and pinto clutch. Hope this do the job ... Cant wait to compare to MNR with 100kg lighter CBR 1000 engine+gearbox ... but parts supply from MNR .. ouch..

Kind of ugly side to side to Westfield ;)

Edit : zetec 2.0 with mt75 alternator and starter : 160 kg.

Honda CBR 1000 65 kg

Is there a reason why Mick Skidmore's car isn't in the photo?

mick's alternator died and was running total loss on sunday so decided not to use vital volts and save them for timed runs 😁

She's feeling neglected, but the camper build is taking priority (and all my spare time), and I need to move that to get her out.
