first drive this morning with replacement gearbox and newly fitted roll cage my little grandson couldn't wait any longer. Then off to mk sportscars open day to meet up with a few fellow westie owners.

The first proper drive of the year to the old haunt, Elstree Aerodrome.

 

Now that the engine has had a good heat soak, it appears to be starting up fine.

 

 

The XI appears to have shrunk in the wash again!

Mine came out the garage yesterday getting closer to completing the engine conversion, hopefully be road ready in the next month or so ready for the summer
