Also to break trip up and I wanted to be nosey at planes and couldn't believe they had Vulcan airplane there. It’s fully functional but not airworthy. They occasionally do full power engine runs and fully powered blasts down the runway, which are fantastic to experience. They did have a mishap several years ago during powered taxiing when the hydraulic brakes failed and the plane crossed the grass and sank into the turf, with its nose almost pointing into the road. Took some time and effort to extract it! 3 Quote

Andrzej Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Okay, I might be bombarding you with my MNR Vortx CBR 1000RR onboards, but here’s one more – finally with proper speed and G‑force data from Racebox mini, and the sound actually works I’m sharing these because I’m thrilled that the MNR I built in my garage handles the track so well and just works. Still open diff 3.38 - Inside wheel spinning on exits (waiting for Gripper LSD plate diff 50/80 ramps , 40 Nm preload fitted to 3.62. F+R slick tyres 200/540/13 3 Quote
mega ade Posted September 26 Posted September 26 It will be interesting to see the difference when you have fitted lsd the car seems to handle better than I thought it might with open diff you should have loads more traction coming out of the corners less wheelspin but maybe a little more sideways stuff going on which is typical of rearwheel drive with lsd and lots of power and no traction control. 1 Quote

Such sad news recently about Marc Nordens passing, hopefully the company will carry on in his memory 1 Quote
Popular Post J D Posted Saturday at 06:48 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 06:48 Not everyones cup of tea. Thought I'd share a number of pics of my 2003 Sierra SDV, bought a couple of years ago, IVA'd this year and registered in Aug. Having had its mot at the end of august, now out and about, and loving it. 12 Quote
Stuart Posted Saturday at 06:55 Posted Saturday at 06:55 Lovely car. How come it needed an MoT so soon after IVA? Quote

Once registered, a new car doesn't need an MOT until it's three years old. Car looks lovely in green! Quote

They weren't actually the same colour either. The other one was more of a cornflour blue in real life and mine was a fair bit darker. 1 1 Quote
