Yip, not been without one since 2009, trusty steeds that never let you down.

 

However someone seems to have replaced the springs on mine with marshmallows and fitted a steering wheel from a bus, since I last used it. 🤔

 Oh aye, leave it in the garage for 6mths over winter and it'll start first time. My mates 911, would throw a hissy fit after 2 weeks! Just need to get conditioned to the hairdresser jokes 😃

Yeah, I had a convertible TT for a while about 7 years ago, the kit car lads gave me a hard time so I sold it to my brother-in-law, 6'3 and hard as nails, he doesn't get the same problem for some reason 😂

Completely agree. Although with the hot weather lately, and people sleeping with their windows open, there may be a few neighbours who might disagree with that this morning! 🤣🤫

My wife's MX-5 was a cracking car, the only problem that I had with it was that at a sensibly sized 6' 2" it was murder to get a comfortable driving position in.  I could never get her buy in to the idea of taking the seats out and sitting on the floor to drive it. 

 

Actually that's not true - the other problem was that at one MOT the tester poked it and it fell apart into a pile of brown dust.  R.I.P. 

 

Still a great car though.
