Popular Post John Ryan Posted Friday at 14:25 Popular Post Posted Friday at 14:25 Just been out for my first drive, a 10 miles shakedown. Running quite well, although the no fuel level showing. A positive start! 12 Quote

Popular Post Craigieboy Posted Friday at 20:30 Popular Post Posted Friday at 20:30 A few from today's run with some MK's, around Windermere. A wee 350 miler, think we can say the new tyres are scrubbed in now. 10 Quote

Tbh, I was half expecting this question. Apart from my mate, with the grey one 🤣, it was my first time meeting the 3 other MK owners, so thought better of bringing up the subject at this time. The 3 other owners were from different areas of England, so the Lake District was pretty much the mid point for us all, plus we both enjoy a long run anyway. It was quite interesting though that although the 2 other cars were completed last year, neither of them had been on runs longer than 100miles and I got the feeling that they were solo runs too. It goes without saying that they really enjoyed the run and I've since been added to their WhatsApp chat, which I think is there only real contact with other owners of like cars. I'm not sure how often, these meets will take place and tbh, I'm on the road a lot anyway, so it doesn't matter so much to me. Though it occur to me that they might be missing out on group runs with like cars in their respective areas and that might be where they may potentially be interested in WSCC. Sorry for the long winded reply, but you did ask 😆 5 Quote
RizFizz Posted yesterday at 15:37 Posted yesterday at 15:37 MKs sound like great cars, but that photo really does show how much nicer the Westfield styling from the front looks (better than Caterham, MK, GBS in my completely(ish) unbiased opinion) 4 Quote

Flying Carrot Steve Posted yesterday at 19:32 Posted yesterday at 19:32 Yeah with those halo headlights they do look a bit like someone just started a prostate check on their rear ends 😂 2 1 1 Quote
Flying Carrot Steve Posted yesterday at 19:35 Posted yesterday at 19:35 Definitely! I'd definitely still have one, I like them. The MKs not a prostate check! 😳 6 Quote

kenton Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago Its all about the driving for me too. My "record" in one day in the Westy was the final day of a European road trip. A grand total of 1171 km. Innsbruck Austria to home in the UK 1 1 Quote
