Looking at this, the difference is only about 8cm, so I suspect lens distortion on the camera is making it appear more. If you look at the width of the parking spaces, the left one is stretched quite a bit more, and phone camera lenses tend to stretch the image towards the edge.

I think you’re right.

 

the square cut-outs in the tub next to the rear lights suggest it’s a fixed arch wide body.

I missed this the first time, but no, the yellow (with white stripe) Westie is not a narrow body, but one with fixed rear arches.  I wouldn't have fitted in a narrow body (I did try!).

Or maybe it's my arches? They look a lot wider than the narrow body's ones to me.

I estimate it at between 650 and 670 based on a single-axle council weighing station and my own in-garage corner weighing. Need to get it checked to be sure but it sure as hell ain't 620 or 600!

I'm not sure what you mean by square cut outs though. I just looked and there are none that I can see.

the rear arch on a fixed arch widebody is narrower than the narrow cars so the body tub has a square cutout section so the caravan style rear lights will still fit.

Mine is a fixed arch widebody, no cut outs though! Well, not that I can see. Maybe they are covered by the style of rear lights I have?

i have a fixed arch on my meg im assuming this is a wide body but the arch looks much wider than the yellow one tyre size is 205

Exactly!  Mine is definitely a wide body fixed arch car and the arches are clearly wider then the yellow car. In fact they look exactly like yours.

My tyre size is same too, 205s. I guess this is all just part of the wonderful world of Westfield!

 

There seem to be so many weird variants that I suspect no one person has seen them all or knows about all of them?

Would be interesting to measure the width and compare it with the figures in the post I linked to. The arches definitely look much wider.

Just did. Mine is 1640mm across the centre of the rear wheels.
