Absolutely - but then I’m a 6’1” old, inflexible codger. They make it so much easier. Not sure where you are - but welcome to have a look if that would be helpful. W 1 Quote

Wylton Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Looking good! Similar to ours, without the air scoop on the bonnet. Ours is a 2ltr Zetec too, not fired it up yet! 1 Quote
Popular Post Gary Taylor Posted December 12, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 12, 2021 Well a cracking day out today, yes a bit “fresh” had to wear a jacket and wooly hat!! Lol, but the roof was unzipped all day!!! Just under 200 miles of fun , the roads were a tad wet n skity this morning, headed off over the Cabrach fuelled up at Lumsden then took a heap of lovely single track hill roads with some stunning views, to Aboyne , then picked up the pace a little along Strathdon to Braemar, Glenshee then on down to the tearoom at Nith . Here a log burner a cracking bowl of broth and a slab of cake, warmed me up. So back up and over Glenshee through Braemar and refuelled at a wee country roadside pump as the petrol station in Braemar is shut at weekends ( but meant to be getting a pay at the pump soon) Then it was up and over the Glenshiel road and to Corgarf then a hood blast up and over the lecht before home up Glen Rinnes . Poor Tommy was absolutely minging so now all washed down and put away and I’ve a hot coffee Sorry for the picture fest but it was a great day out 15 Quote

IainCameron Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Good drills, Gary! I trust that you are doing your mad Westie tours of the snowy Highlands in a kilt of finest plaid! And given the weather, we might excuse a mini hot water bottle in your sporran! 4 Quote

Popular Post Andrzej Posted December 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 16, 2021 Arrived last weeek Decided I need a roadlegal Westfield, as with track one is lot of work, not much driving (one trackday a month is a lot of preparations etc) , and anyway I had a podium with track westfield so often ( how humble ) , so ... decided to buy a chasis with road legal papers to be able to register here in Poland . Not only chasis, but without an drivetrain as I hope I can manage it myself, and due to this the taxes and dutes was lower Thanks to @RJRWesty for patience with completing car to my 'specification' and for a fair deal! Seems to be a busy winter and maybe spring. I.E. I did not know that one SEiW is not equal other SEiW - and my hope for installing my spare MT75 gone after seeing the narrower tunnel intended for type9 gearbox. But there is bright side of this - more place for foot , which is always good for road car and my and my sons rather big foots . Type 9 already ordered here in Poland as well as Sierra propshaft, heard that could make a short Westfield propshaft out of the Sierra one. Well there is after first glance more differences between this and my first Aerorace. First impression is - oh, how much easier is to build a track car than road! so much simpler ! no heater, no, windsceen, no wipers, no speedometer, no lights, no handbrake, no worry about gealcoat and paint etc etc... Anyway, happy but little worried if I can manage completing it and properly register, hope so , and so could send here pictures from trips with this red arrow ! 11 Quote
Sean Walsh Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 Had a quick charge about this afternoon. The ole heated jacket is still tip top accessory I’ve bought! 7 Quote
Popular Post Benrobson2999 - Kent AO Posted December 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 19, 2021 An early start. My first ride in the dark. Damp and foggy, Wipers packed up on the way there 😂. 40 miles to meet (7 sevens) some of the SKCC guys for a brisk little 65 mile blast around the Sussex and Kent country side. Breaky stop and back home for a good wash! 😎👌 9 1 Quote
