The roads were a bit damp and skittery in places but it didn’t rain of snow lol Headed out over the Cabrach and took the old military road over to Cairn o Mount then down to Rumblin’ Bridge cafe where a lovely lunch was had , chatting to them there is 2 car parks so a group is more than welcome (phone ahead if it’s a large group) Suitably fed n watered I was in a quandary as to which way to go , but a couple of bikers pulled in and said the low cloud was gone from the summit so baa as ck tracked oer the Cairn then along Glen Tanner stopping at Ballater for fuel before coming home via Glen Sheil, Corgarf, the Lecht and up the Glen 16 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was very impressed and scared a few times especially when a 40 Ton artic came down a C road.
