Rained all morning here so went for a ride (not in the Westfield) the new Carding Shed where it hadn't rained. And the verdict on the new Carding Shed is? Large, surfaced car park? quality baked cakes? you know the important things in life 1 Quote
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 To be totally honest, wasn't that impressed. Car park was quite small, nowhere near as much parking as the old place. Don't know how they will fit all the cars in for the BBQ, if it happens again. Café is bigger, but it is only a café, no cars, dance floor etc. The workshops are bigger and seems to be better organised but that is what they do, it all appears to be clean and new but it'sonly been open a couple of weeks. Didn't have any cake, but I'm sure that will be the same. The road in is narrow and potholed and there is a junction that almost cought me out. Having said all that, we'll have to give it a proper looking at. 2 Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 So all the cool things that made it a unique venue may be no more. Here’s hoping they just need more time to settle in. Quote

They've been a victim of their own success, the last place was great, but it was in a residential area and caused a lot of disruption on one BBQ night. Quote
