Mat Warwick Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Hi all im probably stabbing into the dark here but when I was 15 my dad had a blue seight factory built, we had some fun in that car but he sold it a few years later due to moving home. I'm trying to find it as I would love to know if it's still around and I would also be interested in trying to buy it back or at least try and get first refusal on the car. sadly i can't remember the reg but I'm sure it was a 53 plate, I can describe it thou It was navy blue with I think black interior it was running a je developments 4.6 v8 on webbers it also had the optional chrome bits, ie lights roll bar etc im sure it was running a t5 box and it had a custom chrome rear exit exhaust when my dad sold it it was sold to John Eales of je developments in claybrooke magna and he had already got a customer for it who I think was going to do some track days. im really hoping I can find it as its a very special car to me, I'm going to try ringing Westfield tomorrow to see if they have any records for me to try and find the reg thanks everyone and fingers crossed Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Good luck with the search. Are there no old photos at your parents that you could have a search through? You might even get a plate, or partial plate to go off. Quote
Mat Warwick Posted May 15, 2018 Author Posted May 15, 2018 Not that I know of, i think my friend might have one so they are going to have a search Quote

6carjon Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Hi Mat. As another seight owner you can try here. They have an seight mailing list with a lot of older members. Its not very active but quedtions usually get a reply and knowledge is extensive. Cheers Jon http://se7ens.net/ Quote

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Sorry, a problem with a server update last night resulted in a few posts from the evening going AWOL. Just to save the original poster asking again, I’ll repost my answer from last night... Sorry, but due to the information included about specific members cars, the Register is viewable only by fully paid up WSCC members. I’m sure you can understand. As ever though, good luck with your detective work. Quote
Mat Warwick Posted May 17, 2018 Author Posted May 17, 2018 Thanks Dave i will repost what I said last night I have been in touch with Westfield after going on the website yesterday, I found a number for simon Westwood who original sold my dad the car. i rang up and spoke to a lady who said simon was currently busy and then asked if she could help. I briefly explained what I was after but she said there’s nothing they could do or find out without the vin number. I asked her to ask simon to return my call but I never heard anything, I guess he probably didn’t get the message. i have also tried he developments but they couldn’t remember. after speaking to my father he said the interior was grey not black. if someone could tag simon Westwood in this like they did last night that would be great. I did think about ringing the dvla and seeing if they keep any records for previous cars owned by a specific person but I doubt they will tell me! anyone have any other ideas? thanks Quote

Mat Warwick Posted May 17, 2018 Author Posted May 17, 2018 Simon has returned my call today but no real joy, he has the vin number but due to my dad taking it for Ava they don't have the registration number as this would of been after my dad had collected Quote
