Dashingly good.

Decided on a few mods to my dash.

Replaced the 9 nylocs and bolts with rivnuts to make removing and refitting easier. Swapped the positions of the fuel and oil pressure gauges because when the half tonneau is on, the left hand gauge is obscured and I’d rather run out of petrol than oil. Also swapped the washer and light switches so that wash and wipe are next to each other.

Fitted a warning buzzer to the indicators, lowered the steering column by about 10mm. Fitted an oil pressure warning light where the main beam warning was and moved the latter to the left.

Fitted the ecu on a drop down tray, held by tywraps, above the passenger footwell.

Previously 15mm had been taken off the bottom edge of the dash to improve knee clearance.

Finally tidied up the wiring with a few dozen tywraps.

Surprisingly, everything works. :-)

Good work John.

The only thing I would reconsider would be to attach the ecu with Velcro to cut down on vibration.
