Side screen leather straps

Afternoon all,

would anyone have a picture of how to attach the leather straps to the side screens and also where you mounted the other half of the popper inside. Thanks guys.

This is how I did mine. M5 SS button head bolt, washer & nyloc.

Male not riveted to interior panel.

Would suggest before you decide on position, sit in with the seat in driving position, and check you'll be able to reach across yourself, and pull reasonably tight as you do the popper up! Same with passenger side, had earache from my financial controller initially about position her side. But used to it now, although I have bought some spare poppers, so could fit in further forward if it came to it :nope:

Just a word of caution, if the stud on inner panel is too far rearward it will catch the seat if the seat is slid forward. Usually resulting in a torn side to the seat vinyl. 

The builder of mine did just that, have subsequently moved the stud on inner panel forward and had new seats! (Had to plug the redundant hole in the door too!)
