stu999
Hehehe.... Dare you to ask the same question on Blatchat.... Sounds like a stormer. Duratec motors seem to be the engine to have (at the moment....) with plenty of companys busy beavering away at developing the motor. But bear in mind that at the moment at least, you are very likely to be a guinea pig as the Duratec is relatively unproven. The Seight and R300 have been about (and developed) for a bit now, so most 'niggles' have been ironed out. Birkins product seems to be very good quality, with second hand values holding well. IMHO I dont think you will go far wrong... HTH Stu.
Sul
Thanks for that Stu. I'm going to post the same on Blatchat soon. Bit tired at mo, maybe tomorrow. Do you think the Cat guys won't be so helpful? Cheers Sul
stu999
Could go either way. But wear your proban overalls just in case......
Blatman
Don't ask, just search the ChitChat section of Blatchat for a thread entitled "Wake up c******m, you're being left behind". Use "Birkin" as the search word, but don't alter the default "anytime" setting of the search, 'cos it won't work...... If the Birkin is 2K less for an independent rear suspension chassis, then the only thing left to consider is cockpit space. The Westfield you tried is a wide body, the Birkin and c******m (unless the c******m was an SV) are both much narrower...........
