Small fuel tank I believe, as every single one i've ever seen at a petrol station, only seems to be able to take the minimum delivery :p

On a more serious note I heard that the XF headlight unit (either DRLor sidelight or indicator) LEDs are known to fail, they're a sealed unit, an MOT fail, and cost around £1300 per side for new units.

Thanks, worth looking out for.

I believe they are fairly mechanically sound  but it’s always good to ask someone that has had one.

My parents have an XE R sport from New it's been back in to have two rear light clusters and a new boot seal which apparently was leaking but my parents wasn't so they changed it anyway and now it leaks lol but other than that it's a nice car and they have been pleased with it

You certainly don’t look like a lovely old man. :p

I think I may have found a better alternative for you Stu, two seater, Turbo,  convertible, leather interior, Momo steering wheel, AC. But best of all, it comes in Gulf colours...

Also after speaking to my dad about an hour ago he said there xe had also been in for a new battery and ecu reflash as the stop start wasn't working. And also a new rear bumper due to damage when fitting said faulty boot rubber. All well and good under warranty but could become very costly fixes outside if it.

Not trying to out you off by the way stu my dad said it's a great car when its working right even though your looking at the xf
